We had a short discussion with our in house Graphic Artist, John Nsikan Williams about some of his interests. These are some of the things we talked about.
What pricked your interest in graphic art?
Along with my quest to acquire knowledge of the digital space of life I stumbled on graphics and as time went on, I discovered that it relates to every aspect of our lives.
Why did you decide to be one?
Among the many talents I have, it happens to be the one I love the most. It almost feels like a way of life now.
What does being a graphic artist entail?
Firstly, you have to love the graphic world including comics, adverts, name it. It requires a lot of creativity, a little mystique and thinking outside of the box. You must also know how to use a computer and be colour coordinated.
How long have you been drawing?
I have been drawing since I was a kid, but it was just random stuff. I started taking it seriously about 7 months ago. I would like to improve myself graphically and, if possible, in every aspect of art. I take out time to use the pencil as well. When I see pieces I like I try to replicate them.
Why did you decide to draw it?
I drew it because it was difficult and I loved it.
